Overview

Understanding healthy ageing

Ageing well is mostly about the things you do early and consistently.

We take a proactive, whole-person view, protecting heart, bones, brain and mobility, and acting on small changes before they grow, with sensible checks rather than testing for its own sake.

What we focus on

A considered, whole-picture approach

Heart and circulation

Keeping cardiovascular risk low with regular, considered review.

Bones and balance

Advice on bone health and the things that help prevent falls, with referral for further assessment when useful.

Brain and memory

Cognitive concerns considered sensitively, with onward referral and support when needed.

Living well

Sleep, mood, nutrition and staying active and connected.

Questions

Good to know

No. The habits that protect your heart, bones and brain matter most when you build them early, so healthy ageing is a focus at any age.

We discuss cognitive concerns sensitively, look for reversible causes, and arrange onward referral and support where it is needed.

Your GP consultations and in-house tests are part of membership. If you need specialist care, we arrange and coordinate the referral; the specialist's own fees are separate.

No. West End Health complements the NHS, it does not replace it. Many members keep their NHS GP, and with your consent we can write to them to keep your care joined up.

Same-day appointments are part of membership. Call by 2pm, Monday to Friday, and we will see you that day, in person, by phone or by video.
