Fatigue and energy

Persistent tiredness deserves more than a rushed ten minutes. We look properly for the cause, from blood tests to sleep, mood and lifestyle.

Overview

Understanding fatigue and energy

Fatigue is one of the most common reasons people come to us, and one of the most rushed elsewhere.

We give it the time it needs: a thorough history, the right blood tests, and a methodical look at the likely causes, physical and otherwise.

What we focus on

A considered, whole-picture approach

Thorough blood tests

Iron, thyroid, vitamin D, B12 and a full blood count as a starting point.

Sleep and rhythm

A proper look at sleep quality, patterns and the things that disrupt them.

Mood and stress

Considering the role of mood, stress and burnout, without dismissing the physical.

A methodical plan

A clear next step, rather than being sent away to rest and see.

How your care works

The same calm process, every time

01

Same-day or book ahead

Reach us before 2pm, Monday to Friday, and be seen that day. Or book a time that suits you.

02

A 30-minute consultation

Unhurried time with a GP who has the time to listen.

03

Tests where they help

On-site bloods and in-clinic ECG, with results explained, not just sent.

04

A plan, and follow-up

A clear next step, with onward referral arranged when it is needed.

We consider sleep, mood and stress alongside the physical, and agree a plan that addresses the likely causes rather than dismissing them.

No. West End Health complements the NHS, it does not replace it. Many members keep their NHS GP, and with your consent we can write to them to keep your care joined up.
