Overview

Understanding cancer screening and risk

Many cancers are far more treatable when found early. The value of screening is in the catching.

We assess your personal and family risk, recommend checks only where there is clear clinical value, and move quickly on anything of concern, with onward referral arranged without delay.

What we focus on

A considered, whole-picture approach

Your risk, reviewed

A considered look at your personal and family history, and what it means for screening.

Screening, where it helps

Bowel cancer screening such as a FIT test, and targeted or genetic screening where it is clinically appropriate, after shared decision-making.

Skin and mole concerns

A GP assessment and advice on any skin or mole concern you raise, with onward referral when it is needed.

Rapid referral

Fast, coordinated referral when something needs urgent specialist assessment.

How your care works
